Engaging in PHP allows clients to work on their recovery during the day while returning to their communities in the evenings. We also offer a weekly aftercare meetings for our clients to meet and discuss any challenges they are facing in their home life and with their recovery. Admissions Process at Greenleaf

Types of Therapy

Our inpatient treatment programs are for adolescents (ages 12-17) and adults who are a danger to themselves or others and require intensive observation and stabilization. We focus on making sure each client creates a strong foundation that sets the stage for successful recovery. When men and women are struggling with a substance abuse problem, they may not realize how deeply the addiction has impacted their lives. They may have lost their job due to repeated absences or a constant neglect of responsibilities. At worst, an individual may have already developed health-related complications from his or her substance abuse and feel powerless to stop using. The H.E.R.O. program at Greenleaf Behavioral Health Hospital is an inpatient track for active-duty service personnel and veterans who are dealing with trauma-related issues.

Your clinician will call you during your scheduled appointment time at your preferred number. The basis of our outpatient programs are to provide group therapy to adults. Clients engaged in our partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs typically stay in treatment for 2-4 weeks, depending on the specific needs of the individual.

We work with each individual to identify his needs and to provide appropriate referrals to community providers when necessary. Our dedicated team of mental health professionals ensures that each client receives the most effective treatment possible that will ultimately provide them with the tools necessary to achieve a brighter future. A person with multiple mental health diagnoses, such as addiction and depression, has co-occurring disorders also called dual diagnosis. This assessment will be given by one of our admissions counselors at absolutely no cost to you or your loved ones. These confidential, free assessments are done 24/7, with admissions counselors always available to assist prospective clients and their loved ones.

Our admissions department is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and you are welcome to call us at any time that is convenient for you. Regardless of the time of day or night, an admissions counselor will be available. Typical length of stay in PHP and IOP at Greenleaf is six to eight weeks. Clients who live in the Foundations Recovery Residence typically stay for six to nine months. Thus, Foundations is designed to overlap clients’ time in PHP/IOP after their first few months after treatment has ended.
